A workshop with our teachers at The Salvation Army Secondary School, Azam Town, Karachi, came together for a meaningful Youth Resilience Toolkit led by the amazing team at Interactive Research and Development (IRD).
The session wasn’t just about learning, it was about connecting, reflecting, and supporting one another. Teachers shared real experiences, explored emotions, practiced stress‑management techniques, and learned simple but powerful ways to build confidence and resilience in themselves and their students.
Key highlights included:
Understanding and managing emotions and stress management
Building self-esteem
Problem-solving for real-life challenges
Communicating with empathy
Setting hopeful goals for the future
Teachers received Certificates of Completion as a reminder of their dedication and growth.
The atmosphere was warm, open, and encouraging, filled with honest conversations and practical activities. We’re grateful to IRD for bringing such an uplifting and empowering experience to our school.
🌱 Together, we grow stronger. Together, we build resilience and brighter futures for our students. 💙
