The Company operates as a not-for-profit association, licensed under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017 (the “Act”). The principal objective of the Company is to carry on and promote, in Pakistan and elsewhere in South Asia, the religious purposes of the organization known as The Salvation Army. These include the spread of the Christian Gospel and undertaking work for the social and moral regeneration and improvement of persons who are destitute or in need. The Company also engages in other charitable activities aimed at promoting education, relieving and preventing illness, and providing care for the helpless.
